1 1/2 lbs of beef *
2 tbsp oil
1 c flour
1 tsp garlic granules or powder
a pinch of salt and pepper
2 cans Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
1 small chopped onion
6 white mushrooms, diced
1/4 c apple juice, or white grape juice
1/4 c white cooking wine
1 tbsp water
1/2 c sour cream

Cut beef into one inch cubes and pat dry. In medium sized bowl combine flour, garlic granules, and salt and pepper. Dredge beef through mixture, thoroughly. In a large non-stick frying pan, on medium high heat, add oil. Add dredged beef evenly to pan, and salt and pepper it once more. Let meat sit until the bottom is golden brown (usually 5 minutes), and then turn over. Cook for another 6-8 minutes until beef looks partially done. Adjust temperature as needed.
In a casserole dish add onions, mushrooms, soup, water, wine, sour cream, and apple juice. Once beef is partially done, add to casserole dish. Mix well. Cook at 350º with lid on for 30 minutes. Remove lid, and cook for another 30 minutes.
