Chicken Thighs (4)
2 cups bisquick Mix
2 cans of cream of chicken soup
1/2 stick of butter
1 can of chicken broth
Season salt (to taste)
pepper
paprika

Directions:
Directions:
Season your chicken as well as salt your water, make sure you have enough water in pot to cover the chicken.Bring
to a boil add chicken broth and one can of cream of chicken soup. Cook the chicken for approximately 50 minutes.

Dumplings:

2 cups Bisquick mix
2/3 cups of milk
mix together

Drop dumplings by tablespoons carefully on top of chicken. Add the other cream of chicken soup mix with some of the stock in pot first to make it smooth and pour over dumplings. Cook for approximately 15 minutes until dumplings are done. Sprinkle paprika over top; Serve Warm
 

Chicken & Dumplings (GrandMother's Procedure)

1 broiler-fryer chicken cut into pieces (3 lbs.)
2 stalks celery (cut into 1-inch pieces)
3 carrots,( cut into 1- inch pieces)
1 medium onion (quartered)
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 cup flour
2 tablespoons cold water
1 egg white

Directions:
Bring chicken water to cover vegetables, salt and pepper to boil in large pot. Reduce heat: Simmer 30 minutes or until chicken is tender. Remove chicken and vegetables; set aside. Discard celery and onion. Mix flour water and egg white in small bowl until stiff dough forms. Roll on lightly floured surface until dough is 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 1-inch strips.
Bring remaining liquid to boil in pot. Add dumplings; return chicken and carrots to pot. Cook on medium-high heat 10 to 15 minutes or until dumplings are tender. Always drop the dough strips into the pot while the chicken and broth are boiling. DO NOT STIR until they are almost tender.

My family loves this dish, very good during cold weather. My grandmother made this dish, however she made her dumplings from scratch. Didn't master that technique. She cut her dumplings into strips. Enjoy!!!
