24 wings, tips removed. wash and pat dry, place on paper towel lined sheet pan. sprinkle with Accent and garlic salt, let stand 1 hour.
2 eggs, beaten
1 c milk or buttermilk
1 c cornstarch
SAUCE:
2 c sugar
1 c vinegar
4 tbsp ketchup
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 c chicken stock
1 tsp Accent

Preheat oven to 350º. Dip wings into buttermilk or milk, then beaten eggs and then cornstarch, fry in a pan on the stove until golden brown, place in a sprayed or buttered 9X13 pan. Boil sauce on stove for 1 minute, then pour over wings, bake in a 350º oven for 30 minutes and reduce heat to 325º cooking for an additional 1 hour, basting sauce over wings every 10 minutes if possible. For spicier wings add an additional 5 or 6 drops of your favorite hot sauce while cooking sauce. This recipe was given to Martha by her dear friend Virgie Robertson.
