2 1/2 cups of flour (12 1/2 oz)
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt

1 1/2 sticks of butter cut into pieces and very cold
1/2 cup shortening cut into pieces and very cold

1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup water...both very cold

Directions:
Directions:
Pulse 1 1/2 cups flour, sugar and salt till mixed
Add butter and shortening and mix just till flour is coated or about 15 seconds
Scrape bowl adn then add additional 1 cup of flour and pulse about 6-8 times just till mixed
Turn to bowl and add vodka and water and mix with stiff spatula just till coated and sticking together

Divide into two balls and wrap with saran, refrigerate for at least one hour and up to 2 days.
Let sit on counter for 10 minutes before rolling out.
