3/4 cp. sugar
1/2 cp. milk
1/2 cp. oil
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cps. plain flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 large jar maraschino cherries, drained and chopped
Icing:
2 cps. powdered sugar
2 Tbsp. melted butter
1/3 cp. cherry juice
1/2 tsp. almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease 9x5 loaf pan. Mix wet ingredients well and add dry ingredients gradually. Fold in cherries and pour into pan. Bake 50-55 min. Allow bread to cool. Mix icing ingredients together until smooth and spread over bread. This freezes well.
