Ingredients: Spaghetti sauce: cut up salt pork. and melt down in a large pan on the stove Cut beef roast in large chunks and brown in same pan Then add: 2 whole garlic cloves cut up fine salt and pepper 1 whole onion - poke whole cloves all around the onion 1 large can tomato sauce 2 large cans tomato paste 1 large can whole tomatoes 1 can water oregano
Simmer about 3 hours
Note: Remove onion with cloves , and pork and beef before serving

Directions:Meatballs: Mix together 2 # hamburger and 1# pork sausage Bread soaked in milk - then drain off the milk 2-3 eggs 1 large garlic clove , finely chopped 1 large (12-16 oz) can grated Parmesan cheese 4-6 oz parsley flakes garlic salt salt and pepper
Mix all together - shape into meatballs Bake half in the oven at 350º for 45 minutes
Serve over pasta of your choice.
Serve beef roast also. |

Notes: Aunt Jane would make huge amounts of this and invite us over on Sundays....It was considered a "side dish" as she also served beef roast, potatoes, salads, etc...and several loaves of her home made bread..
