1 package self-rising cornbread mix
(I use Martha White's Buttermilk Cornbread Mix)
½ cup Wesson oil
½ pint (1 cup) sour cream
2 eggs, beaten
1 small can cream-style corn

Directions:
Directions:
Grease pie plate or cast iron skillet and preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie plate or skillet and bake for 30 minutes.

This is my "go to" recipe for cornbread. I fix it all the time and always include it with my soup and stew meals for our church folks. I think it originally came from Jane Graves in Winston-Salem.
