3 egg yolks
2 egg whites
1 pint milk
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon flavoring (nutmeg, cinnamon, vanilla, or lemon extract)

Directions:
Directions:
Blend sugar and salt together. Scald milk add to sugar and salt along with your flavoring. Set to side to cool down. Beat eggs slightly and add to scalded milk mixture. Pour into custard cups, set in a pan of hot water and bake in a moderate oven. Time in oven, 30 minutes. Temperature, 325º
