Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 can (10-1/2 oz.) Cream of Mushroom soup - undiluted
1 tablespoon prepared mustard
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon horseradish (optional)

1 egg
1/4 cup dry bread crumbs (about 1 slice of bread crumbled)
1/4 cup onion - chopped
1/4 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper

1-1/2 lbs. ground beef - see note in directions
1 to 2 tablespoons cooking oil - see note in directions
1/2 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl, combine the soup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and the horseradish; blend well. Set aside.

In another bowl, lightly beat the egg. Add bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper and 1/4 cup of the soup mixture. Add beef and mix well. Shape into 6 patties. Pack the patties tight so they stay together in the pan.

Pick a large frying pan with a lid, as you will need the lid later. If the ground beef is 80% or less, then brown it in the frying pan. If the ground beef is higher than 80%, then you will probably need to put oil in the pan before browning. Either way, once they are browned, remove the patties from the pan, drain the excess oil from the pan and then return the patties to the dry pan. Combine the remaining soup mixture with 1/2 cup water; pour over the patties. Cover and cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until the meat is done.

Remove the patties to a serving platter; spoon sauce over meat.
