1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup onions - chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
1 large can pork and beans - see note in instructions
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 teaspoon tobasco sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ground beef and onion in a heavy iron skillet until the meat loses its red color. Drain well. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cook until done. Don't overcook or it will get mushy.

Note: Do not use Campbells beans. They are too mushy. Also, when you buy the beans, shake the can. If you can't hear them move around, don't buy. Only buy ones that you can tell that they move when you shake the can.
