Ingredients:  
1 c. sugar
1½ c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1/4 t. baking powder
1/4 t. salt
1 c. Crisco
1/2 c. milk plus 2 T.
1 egg
2½ c. diced apples

TOPPING;
1 c. brown sugar
1 t. cinnamon
2 T. flour
1 T. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped nuts


Directions:
Directions:
Beat together all ingredients, then fold in diced apples. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Mix together topping ingredients and pour over apple mixture in pan. Bake @ 350º for 45 minutes. Serve with Cool Whip.
