3 cups cooked, mashed sweet potatoes
½ cup white sugar
½ cup melted butter
2 beaten eggs
½ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
½ tsp salt, nutmeg and cinnamon

Topping:
Combine:
1 cup brown sugar
½ stick butter
⅓ cup flour
½- 1 cup chopped pecans

Variation:
add can drained crushed pineapple on top, and put 1 cup mini marshmallows on top

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Boil the potatoes until tender. Remove from heat and let cool completely.
I like to bake them in the oven, scoop out immediately when done. Cool and mash

Add the rest of the ingredients

Pour into a large greased casserole dish
Cover with topping
Bake at 350º for about 35 minutes

I usually make this dish one or two days ahead and keep refrigerated until ready to cook
