1 clove garlic
1-2 lb round steak
1 medium onion
4 medium potatoes
2 Tablespoons curry powder
coconut milk
chopped green onions
chunk pineapple
rice

Directions:
Directions:
Really smash garlic and onion and add 2 Tablespoons curry, 1/4 cup water to make paste-set aside.

Cut up round steak in bite size pieces and then add the paste to the meat in skillet.

Peel 4 medium potatoes, cut in bite size pieces - add to meat and cook till tender (around 20 minutes). When done before serving add 1/2 cup coconut milk; just stir in and cook only 5 minutes to thicken.

Place over rice with chopped green onions sprinkled on top. (Optional: chunk pineapple eaten with this)

*Curry powder makes it hot-the more curry powder the hotter it is.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
My brother, Benny, married a sweet girl from Singapore-Rosnilah, who shared this great recipe with mom. My dad loved it and mom made it often. She felt like the kind of curry you had made a big difference. She preferred the curry from Singapore that Rose often brought back. I haven't made it for my family much as they do not prefer it but it sure is good.
