4 tbsp. (1/2 stick) butter
3 cups pecan halves
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 275*f. Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Put the pecans in the pan and stir to coat.Layer the coated pecans on a cookie sheet. Roast the pecans for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir them once at 15 minutes. Roast until they are slightly browned. Remove the pan from the oven and lightly sprinkle with salt while they are warm. When they are cool store them in an air tight containers.
