3½ c. cake flour, sifted
1 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup golden raisins
2 cups pecans, chopped
2 cups hot applesauce

Preheat oven to 350*. Grease and flour a Bundt/tube pan.

Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and cloves together. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat well. Add flour mixture, alternating with hot applesauce, a small amount at a time. Beat until smooth.

Bake for 1 hour 15 min or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes in pan and then cool on cooling rack.

Can be served plain or with frosting.
