Hurst's HamBeens Brand 15 Bean Soup, By dried Beans at grocer.
*Make sure its NOT CAJUN Flavor*
ham bone and left over ham
I usually have a ham dinner, then the next day I make the soup from the left overs, SAVE BONE
1 Tablespoon Garlic
1 cup minced onion
1 1/2 - 2 cup chopped celery
2 cans or frozen carrots
salt and pepper
seasoning packet from beans

Directions:
rinse beans. Put in large pot fill with water about 2 inches above beans. let soak over night.
next day
Rinse beans again. Remove any loose shells from beans.
Add ham bone with beans in pot. Cover with water about two inches above. Boil for about two hours. Remove ham bone. cut up ham still on bone. cut up about a pound or more of left over ham, Add all ingredients including bean seasoning packet bring to boil then simmer about two hours, until celery is soft. salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy
