1 C butter
1/3 C sugar
2 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 C all-purpose flour
1 C chopped pecans
3 Tbsp. confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
preheat oven to 325

1) In medium bowl cream butter and sugar until smooth.
2) Beat in water and vanilla.
3) Stir in flour and pecans until well blended.
4) Cover and chill for at least four hours.
5) Preheat oven. Shape dough into walnut sized balls or crescents. Place two inches apart onto ungreased baking pans.
6) Bake for eighteen to twenty minutes , until golden. Roll in confectioners sugar while still warm.
