2C milk
1/4C sugar
2 eggs
1 vanilla bean

2 Tbsp rum (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk eggs and sugar together in top of a double boiler, then whisk in milk. Split and scrape vanilla bean, drop vanilla and bean into liquid. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
