PREHEAT OVEN 350

4 cups sifted all purpose flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 cup raisins
2/3 cup sugar
1 beaten egg
1-2/4 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients
Add to wet just enough to moisten
Add raisins
put into greased loaf pan (2 small or 1 large)
Bake 45 minutes or until knife inserted in bread comes out clean.
