4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 cups sifted cake flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter
1-1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 egs
2/3 cup milk
Frosting:
3 cups whipping cream 1-1/2 cups 10x sugar
1/2 cup sifted unsweetened cocoa 1/8 tsp sale
2 tsp instant coffee granules

Cake:
In double boiler melt chocolate and water, add 1/2 cup sugar mix til dissolved. cool.
Cream butter and sugar til flurry, add vanilla. add eggs one at a time, beat well.
Add flour and milk alternately, beat just til blended. fold in chocolate, turn into two 8 inch dusted and greased pans.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes - do not overbake!

Frosting:
Put all ingredients into mixing bowl, mix and chill for 30 minutes
Beat with mixer until stuff.
