1⁄2cup vegetable oil
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 large eggs
1⁄4teaspoon baking powder
1⁄3cup cocoa powder
1⁄4teaspoon salt
1⁄2cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix oil and sugar until well blended.
Add eggs and vanilla; stir just until blended.
Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl.
Stir dry ingredients into the oil/sugar mixture.
Pour into greased 9 x 9 square pan.
Bake for 20 minutes or until sides just starts to pull away from the pan.
Cool completely before cutting.

Note: If you double the recipe bake in 9x13 pan; you will need to cook longer than 20 minutes.

Baked at 320 degrees for 25 minutes to accommodate the smaller size pans as compared to the suggested 9x9 pan. This was done to create 3 brownie based ice cream sandwiches for my grandsons.

Baked this standard batter in 6 mini greased springform pans to create top and bottom cookie layers for ice cream sandwiches. Place about 1/4 cup in each grease springform pan using a large ice cream scoop. Remaining mixture was baked in greased glass custard cup.
