32-40 Caramels
5 tblsp cream
1 cup oatmeal
1 cup flour
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt caramels with cream and set aside to cool.

Combine oatmeal, flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt and butter. Mix well and pat 1/2 of mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes at 325 degrees. Remove from the oven and sprinkle chocolate chips and nuts over the top. Pour the melted caramel over and sprinkle with remaining oatmeal mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool and cut into bars.
