Ingredients:  
Ingredients:  
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
½ tsp baking powder, soda and salt
1 cup butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients together and put dough into the refrigerator overnight.
Take out 2 hours before rolling and cutting out cookies with cookie cutters.
Bake at 350º 6-8 minutes
Cool and frost as desired

Aunt Thelma made these cookies every year for Christmas and would spend hours delicately frosting them. She would give all the kids that visited her on Christmas Eve a coffee can with cookies in to take home....this was always a special treat when we were young kids.
