6 eggs, well-beaten
¾ c sugar
1 c brandy or sherry
2 c milk
2 c heavy cream
⅛ tsp nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Beat the eggs until they are as thick as mayonnaise.
Gradually beat in the sugar.
Add brandy or sherry very slowly.
Stir in the milk and half of the heavy cream.
Whip the remaining cream until stiff, then fold into the eggnog mixture.
Pour into punch bowl. Sprinkle with nutmeg, or sprinkle each serving with nutmeg.

I made eggnog once with a recipe that required separating the egg white from the yolk. This recipe is just as good and is a lot less work!
