4 c. scalded milk
2 c. cold water
3 tbsp yeast
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. salt
Flour (about 15 cups)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Scald milk then add 2 cups of cold water to milk. Should be about 120 degrees
2. Add remaining ingredients to a mixing bowl, then add milk/water mixture and begin adding flour 1 cup at a time, mixing well between each additional cup
3. When all mixed together, transfer to a very large bowl. Coat top with a little shortening and cover. Let raise 2 times in bowl.
4. Grease 5 loaf tins. Divide dough into 5 pieces. Form loaf, dip top into the tin to grease top then set bottom in tin. Let raise.
5. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes on bottom rack.
6. Take out of tin immediately and transfer to cooling rack.
