Corned Beef

1 corned beef brisket with spice packet
4 cups water or 3-1/2 cups water and 1/2 cup Guinness
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 cup potatoes, diced
1 cup white onion, sliced
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1/2 cup celery, diced
Guinness mustard recipe; 18 slider buns; coleslaw

Directions:
Directions:
Crock-pot: place water, sugar, vinegar in a slow cooker on high. Add brisket and spice packet. Place potatoes, carrots and celery on all sides of the brisket. Cook on high for 4 hours or on low for 8 hours. When brisket is cooked, slice against the grain. Stack brisket slices on bottom half of bun, top with coleslaw. Spread mustard on the top part of bun to complete your slider. Note: you can use a pressure cooker to cook the brisket.
 

Guinness Mustard

1/2 cup Dijon Mustard
2 tablespoons Honey Mustard
2 tablespoons Guinness (or stout beer)
1 teaspoon dark brown sugar

Whisk together both mustards, Guinness and brown sugar. Set aside.
