10-12 large jalapeņo peppers (or if you like a mild variety, use sweet peppers)
8oz whipped cream cheese (whipped is easier and lighter to blend with)
8oz shredded mix cheese (use Colby, Monterey jack, and Cheddar)
4oz bacon bits (real bacon is the best)
2-3 tablespoons of your favorite BBQ or Southwest seasoning (it should have salt, black pepper, garlic, onion, Chile powder, paprika, coriander, and cumin [optional ground mustard and celery seed]).

1. Cut only the tops of the peppers (leave whole), and remove seeds and veins.
2. Mix ingredients and fill peppers to top.
3. Stand peppers upright (grill pepper holders work the best).
4. Bake or grill at 350 for 15-20 minutes, or until outer skin starts to blacken.
5. Serve immediately
