2 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1½ tsp cinnamon
2 cups oatmeal
½ cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
¾ cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1½ tsp vanilla
⅓ cup milk or buttermilk
1 cup raisins, dates or chocolate chips
¾ cup chopped nuts, optional
Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 6 ingredients together. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, eggs, vanilla and milk. Add to flour mixture, mixing well, then stir in raisins and nuts. Bake at 375º F for 10-12 minutes.
