1 lb ham hock
1 chopped onion
1/2 bell pepper, chopped
1 clove garlic, chopped finely



Mix in a microwave bowl:
1 8oz can tomato sauce
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 c brown sugar (light)
1/2 c molasses (prefer light)
1 bay leaf

Mix the sauce together, add the chopped vegetables and microwave a few minutes to heat up the sauce. Add the sauce, beans, and ham hock to slow cooker and cook on low heat for at least 6 hours.
