1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 c. flour
1 small can fruit cocktail, drained
¼ c. brown sugar
Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, mix sugar and egg until sugar is dissolved.
Add baking soda, salt and flour and mix well. Stir in fruit cocktail.
Spread mixture in greased and floured 8” square pan.
Sprinkle top with brown sugar.
Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. When cool, cut in squares and serve with whipped cream.
