1 1/2 C. powdered Sugar
1 C. butter
3 oz. cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 egg
2 1/3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Frosting: "Royal Icing"

3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 - 16 oz. powdered sugar (4 1/2 C.)
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cream together powdered sugar, butter, and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
2. Stir vanilla, almond extract and egg into the above mixture.
3. Mix together flour and baking soda and stir into the above mixture.
4. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours.
5. Divide dough in half. Roll out - cut out - bake at 375º oven for 7-8 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. If cookies will not be frosted, add sprinkles to top.
7. Remove from cookie sheet - cool on rack.

Frosting: "Royal Icing"

1. Put all ingredients in bowl and mix with electric mixer 7-10 minutes until stiff.
2. Spread on cookies, but it dries fast so cover bowl with damp cloth. Frosts 7 dozen.
