1 pound of dry peas
2-32 ounces of beef or chicken stock
4 cups water
3 tbsp salt
3 tbsp pepper
1 chicken bouillon
1 tbsp garlic salt
1 tbsp seasonall

Directions:
Directions:
1. Soak peas for 24 hours. Drain and rinse in cool water.
2. Place peas and all ingredients in large stock pot.
3. Boil on high heat for 20 minutes.
4. Remove to medium heat. Add more stock as it boils away.
5. Low boil on medium heat for 1 hour and the low heat for 2 more hours. Watch for scorching, keeping stock level up at least 2 inches above level of peas.
