6-8 chicken breast
⅔ cup butter
3 tbsp flour
1 tsp salt
2 large oranges
½ bay leaf
⅓ tsp allspice
⅓ tsp thyme
⅓ tsp sage
1⅓ cup orange juice
1 cup dry white wine
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute chicken breast in butter until browned. Place chicken in casserole dish. Stir flour and seasonings into drippings. Blend in orange juice and wine, stirring until thickened. Pour sauce over chicken and arrange sliced, unpeeled oranges around chicken. Bake at 325º for 1 hour or until tender. Cook covered, or baste to prevent dryness.
