Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 # beef round steak (about 3/4” thick)
8 oz. sliced fresh mushrooms
Flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder
1 med onion, halved and sliced thin
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
10 oz. can beef broth
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup sour cream

Noodles, cooked and drained

Directions:
Directions:
Slice round steak into 3/8” thick strips. It slices easier when very cold or partly frozen.

Dredge beef with a mixture of flour, salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Melt butter and oil over medium heat in large frypan. Sauté beef in several batches until brown on both sides...hot enough to brown the beef, but don’t burn the flour. Remove beef from pan.
Sauté mushrooms and onion in pan drippings until golden brown.
Add broth and soup to pan and blend until smooth. Add beef back into pan. Cover an simmer on low heat for 30 minutes.
Stir in sour cream just before serving and serve over noodles.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
It’s the Paula Deen way. Bill loves this, even though he thinks he hates sour cream. Seriously, the soup, broth, sour cream combo would be a good sauce on almost anything.
