Ingredients:
Ingredients:
7 oz. thin, or angel hair spaghetti, cooked and drained
1/2 cup butter
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 cups sliced mushrooms (8 oz)
1/2 cup flour
2 cups milk
2 cups half & half
1/4 teaspoon salt
dash garlic salt
dash pepper
3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
2 cups diced ham

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º
Butter a 2 1/2 qt casserole dish (a 13x9” will work)

Toss cooked spaghetti with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and ham. Place in buttered casserole.

In a large skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms in butter until golden.
Stir in flour.
Add milk, cream, and spices and stir over medium heat until slightly thickened.

Pour over spaghetti and top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
Mixture will be very runny at this point, but don’t worry, it will thicken up as it bakes.

Bake for 20 minutes at 375º

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This was passed from friends an neighbors in Stow, OH. From Janet Dubravetz to Kay Oliver to me. It is probably my favorite casserole of all. Kay still makes it after all these years ..1970-something...and so do I.

Whatever you do, DO NOT be tempted to add more than 7 oz. of pasta, even though it doesn’t seem like enough, it is.
Makes about 6 servings.
