1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups rice
1 can condensed onion soup
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 can condensed beef consume
1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in 2 qt. casserole, stir rice to coat grains with butter, add soup and consume and mushrooms. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes, covered until tender and liquid is absorbed. Stir occasionally. Remove cover and top with cheese returning to oven for 5 minutes.
