2 sticks butter
1 C. granulated sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
6 - 8 oz. dates
3/4 - 1 C. pecans

Directions:
Directions:

1. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy.
2. In large bowl sift flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
3. Beat flour mixture into butter mixture until well combined.
4. By hand, stir in oats, dates, and pecans. Dough will be thick.
5. Drop by spoonsful on ungreased cookie sheet.
6. Cook at 350º for 13-15 minutes.
