4 eggs
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
3 1/2 C. flour
4 tsp. baking powder

Icing:

2 C. sifted powdered sugar
6 tsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla

Optional: sugar and/or sprinkles

Directions:
1. In a bowl sift flour and baking powder together. Set aside
2. In a large mixing bowl cream together the butter and sugar.
3. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well.
4. Mix in vanilla. Add flour mix and knead until dough is firm, not sticky, add more flour as needed.
5. Cut into 6 strips. Twirl and bake on greased cookie sheet for 8-10 minutes at 375º.
6. Cool completely on rack.
7. Dip cooled cookies in glaze (thick) and let drip down sides.
8. Top with sugar or sprinkles.
