2 1/2 Cup Shortening
2 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
2 1/2 Cup Sugar
2 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
6 Eggs
2 1/2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 1/2 Cups Unbleached All Purpose Flour
1 1/2 teaspoons Salt
2 1/2 teaspoons Baking Soda
5 Cups Rolled Oatmeal
12 ounces Chocolate Chips

Directions:

1. Cream together the shortening, peanut butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and Vanilla.

2. Add the flour, salt, and baking soda and mix.

3. Add oatmeal and chocolate chips. mix until all is combined evenly,

4. Drop by teaspoon full on parchment lined sheet pan and bake at 350ºF for 15 Minutes.

Cool on a rack.
