1/2 C. butter
1 C. light brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
2 large eggs
1/4 C. juice or liquor
1/4 C. boiled juice concentrate
1/2 tsp. each ground cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg
1 3/4 C. flour
9 C. chopped dried fruit and nuts.

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 325º. Lightly grease baking sheets.
2. Mix butter, sugar, salt and baking powder until smooth.
3. Add eggs and beat until smooth and creamy.
4. Add juices and liquids and mix.
5. Add spices and mix until smooth.
6. Stir in fruit and nuts . Batter will be heavy and sticky.
7. Drop cookies on baking sheet about 1" apart.
8. Bake for 20-22 minutes. Let cookies cool before moving from pan. Store at room temperature in airtight container.
