1 lb hamburger
2 cloves garlic
1/2 tsp oregano
salt
1 heaping soup spoon flour
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 can water
ketchup
taco seasoning
salsa
1 heaping spoon red chili powder
Corn tortilla's
Refried beans
Shredded Velveeta Cheese
Tomato's
Black Olives
Sour Cream
Lettuce
Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, drain. Add garlic and oregano. Mix. Add flour, tomato sauce, water, chili powder OR taco seasoning, salsa and ketchup to taste. Simmer on stove top for 1-2 hours. Heat oil in fry pan and fry corn tortilla for a few seconds - drain on paper towel.

You must like Velveeta Cheese to like these tacos! On the top of Grama's kitchen cupboards is a green bottle that has melted wax dripping down it. Doug talks often about how when Grama served these taco's they would light a candle in the bottle at the table and let it drip down the sides. Grama created great family memories by doing special things like this.
