Cake:
2 sticks butter (no salt added)
1 cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
3 large eggs, room temp.
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
pinch of salt
1/2 cup sour cream

Syrup:
2 tblsp butter, melted
3 tsp sugar
1 tsp cinnamon

Streussel:
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 cup chopped nuts, toasted
1 stick cold butter, cut into tblsp

Cake:
Cream butter and sugar for approximately 5 min. Add eggs, vanilla, beating about 20 seconds after each egg. Combine all dry ingredients. Add to dry ingredients in thirds, alternating with sour cream. Beat about 45 seconds after each addition. Begin and end with flour mixture. Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

Syrup:
Mix all ingredients together until well blended. Drizzle the syrup over the batter.

Streussel:
With a pastry cutter, cut in butter a few pieces at a time into sugar, cinnamon and nuts until mixture resembles course crumbles. Scatter over batter. Bake 50-55 min at 350 degrees.
