Beef Stroganoff

2 lbs beef sirloin steak, 1 tsp salt
½ inch thick 1 tsp Worcestershire
½ lb fresh mushrooms sliced ½ c water
2 medium onions sliced ¼ cup flour
1 clove garlic, fine chopped 1 ½ cups sour cream
¼ cup butter
1 cup water 2 tsp beef bouillon granules

Cut beef across grain into strips, 1 ½ x ½ inch. Beef is easier to slice partially frozen. Cook and stir mushrooms, onions, and garlic in margarine in 10 inch skillet until onions are tender; remove from skillet. Cook Beef in skillet until brown. Stir in 1 cup water, bouillon, salt and Worcestershire. Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
Stir ½ cup water into flour; stir in beef mixture. Add mushroom mixture, stir in sour cream. Heat until hot (not boiling). Serve over cooked noodles. Serves 8
