½ lb lean ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
2 cups frozen peas and carrots
3 cups beef broth
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 tsp Louisiana hot sauce
2 ml Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp dried thyme
⅛ tsp pepper
3 tbsp flour or cornstarch
2 pkgs (1 box) instant mashed potatoes- roasted garlic flavoured
2 eggs
1 cup shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef, add onions, garlic, peas and carrots. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 4 minutes. Then add broth, hot sauce, onion soup mix, Worcestershire, thyme and pepper. Heat til boiling, over medium heat. Then add flour to thicken the sauce.
Meanwhile, cook potatoes according to directions on box. When done, add eggs, one for each pkg.
Place veggie/sauce mixture into large casserole dish, then spread potatoes evenly on top. Sprinkle with paprika, if desired. Bake at 350º F for 15 minutes. Then sprinkle cheese on top and baking 12 minutes longer, or until cheese is melted. Let stand 5-10 minutes before serving.
