1 fresh angel food cake, let cool, cut in thirds

Filling:

3 egg yolks beaten
1/2 envelope Knox gelatin
1/3 c. sugar
juice of one lemon
1 pint whipping cream

BEAT 3 EGG WHITES UNTIL STIFF
add 1/4 c sugar
lemon shavings




Directions:
Directions:
Put top ingredients in double boiler, cook until thick. Beat egg whites and add to cool yolk mixture. Put filling between layers and in center. Frost with whipped cream and add lemon shavings on top.
