2 cups flour
1 cups sugar

1 stick butter
½ cup vegetable shortening
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
1 cup water

½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp soda
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs slightly beaten
1 tsp cinnamon

Icing:
1 stick butter
4 Tbsp cocoa powder
6 Tbsp milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup pecans, or more, to taste
1 cup coconut, or more, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º

Sift together flour and sugar into a large bowl. Set aside. In medium saucepan bring butter, shortening, cocoa and water to a boil. Pour over the flour and sugar mixture. Mix well. Add buttermilk, soda, vanilla, eggs, and cinnamon. Mix well and pour into a greased and floured 11" x 16" cookie sheet. Bake 30 minutes. Watch it closely, it bakes fast! Make the icing minutes before the cake is done, and frost while the cake is hot.

For the icing:
Bring butter, cocoa powder, and milk to a boil. Remove from burner and add powdered sugar, vanilla, pecans and coconut. Stir and spread over warm cake carefully.
