Bag of small washed pickling cucumbers
Fresh dill heads
Garlic cloves peeled

Brine:

14 cups water
1 cup vinegar
1/2 cup pickling salt

Directions:
Directions:
Sanitize jars in dishwasher, or by pouring hot boiling water over them. Empty jars of water, add 2 heads of dill if using quart jars, 2 cloves of garlic and fill jars with washed cucumbers. Ensure the ends of each cucumber are sliced off. Bring brine to a boil and pour over cucumbers until jar is almost full. Place lid on jar, but do not tighten. Add jars to canner and add water to canner until 3/4 of each jar is immersed in water. Place on stove on high heat until water in the canner comes to a boil. Remove jars from the canner and tighten the lids.

Pickles will be ready to enjoy in 6 weeks.
