Pork roast, chops or spare ribs
Sauerkraut

DUMPLINGS:
Plain bread cubes
Poultry seasoning
2 eggs -
¼ cup flour
Salt and pepper
boiling water to moisten

Directions:
Directions:
Sear meat in a pan on stove until brown
Add sauerkraut and simmer a couple of hours.
Remove bones from meat

Mix rest of ingredients for dumplings, and add on top of sauerkraut
Cover and cook about 30 - 45 minutes, without removing cover

This was definitely one one of Mike, Kathy and Dee Ann's favorites...
It was always waiting on the stove for us when we would come for a visit!

I have made this in the crockpot....add pork ribs, cover with sauerkraut, cook on low about 5-6 hours, and then add dumpling on the top, cook on high for another hour.
