3 cups flour
1 cup butter-softened
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º. Beat butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and nutmeg. Add dry ingredients to wet, alternating with sour cream. Mix well. Flatten dough to disc, wrap, and chill. Roll out dough 1/4 inch thick. Bake 7 minutes (soft) 10 minutes (crisp).

Icing: 6 cups powdered sugar, 1/4 to 1/2 cup milk, 1/4 cup corn syrup, 2 tsp almond extract, and gel food coloring.
