For the "crust" and topping:
1 cup sifted flour
3/4 cup oatmeal
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup salted butter
1 tsp. cinnamon
4 cups rhubarb, diced

For syrup to put over rhubarb:
1 cup sugar
2 Tbsp. corn starch
1 cup water
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1st five ingredients to make the "crust/topping"
Mix until crumbly to make the "crust"
Pour 1/2 of this mixture into a greased 9" square dish
Put the diced rhubarb over the "crust"

For syrup - Combine last 4 ingredients in pan and cook until thick and clear.
Pour the syrup over the rhubarb/crust
Top with remaining crumbs (you can sprinkle 1 1/2 cups sugar over the top crumbs
Bake 1 hour at 350º
Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream
